Joe Day Field, proudly known as the home of the Kowboys, stands as a tribute to Joe Day, founder of the Osceola Panthers and one of the most influential figures in youth football in Osceola County. Through decades of dedication, leadership, and service, Joe Day created opportunities for countless young athletes to learn the values of discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance. His commitment to developing youth and strengthening the community left a lasting impact that continues to be felt today. The history of the Osceola Kowboys Youth Football & Cheer Program is also rooted in the contributions of Victor Steffanici, who led the long-standing and successful CFCA Mustangs Football Program. Like Joe Day, Victor dedicated years to mentoring young athletes and building a respected football tradition. Together, the legacies of the Panthers and Mustangs organizations helped lay the foundation for what would eventually become the Osceola Kowboys Youth Football & Cheer Program. The merger of these two proud programs created a unified organization dedicated to serving the youth of Osceola County while establishing a direct developmental pathway and feeder system to Osceola High School. Today, the Kowboys continue to honor the traditions, values, and vision established by both organizations while carrying the program forward for future generations.Joe Day Field remains a symbol of Joe Day's lasting legacy—a place where young athletes develop character, families create lifelong memories, and the Kowboys tradition continues to thrive.
